NYNP: Campaign for Children calls for investment in our future

The Campaign for Children gathered at City Hall yesterday to call for long-term investments in child care and after-school programs.

The Campaign for Children, a coalition of over 150 non-profit organizations, got the advocacy year off to an early start yesterday when members gathered on the steps of City Hall today to ask for a long-term investment in child care and after-school programs – programs that are vital to children and working families yet are constantly on the budget chopping block.
